big thank you to everyone at inside out magazine for the great story in march/april issue! this story covers it all from byronviewfarm cottage, weddings held at bvf and design..photos are as usual are beautiful and somehow prue ruscoe always makes everything look stunning. shannon fricke for her kind words about strangetrader and what we are upto….but really thanks for the wise words and laughs. hope you like the issue as much as we do. thank you rob & andrea
we are the proud owners of a new/old hallberg rassy 46′ lying in port napolean france……she is looking a bit frumpy and we want to turn it into the floating food and beverage love nest!!!….roberts words not mine. we need as much light as we can down below . as in the feel because we can’t just add another skylight!.. not being a fan of “beige world” but feel we need to add beige and cream for the curtains, carpet and couches to compensate for all the wood below..need to get rid of all those buttons and cord fabric and go a clean modern linen look…..maybe a bit of modernist danish feel… so these are the beginnings, the basics..the slate grey is for cockpit cushions and the old stripe grain sacks will be up on deck…keep you up to date as we go along.
sad to see her go as we have had so many amazing times but her replacement is a floating apartment!!! pictures to be posted as soon as we get on board and redecorate…….boat design is next on the list
so this week its been all about colour………..porters paint dusty mule grey and the various shades it turns into. how the light changes it…. tory takes pictures for the clients to show them what we are upto…always action shots..standing under the pretend shower and washing my hair…pretending to type in the office…and now? its martin the site manager………on friday afternoon in byron bay
